With the Full Moon, plus the shadow of mercury retrograde AND the eclipse, energy is A LOT this week!
Personally, I’ve been hit with big body aches and headaches and find this week I need more water than normal, much more grounding and much more sleep – unfortunately it seems to have the opposite effect on my kids 😉
So how can we make the most of this and come out stronger on the other side?
These changes and potential for growth will continue for the next 2 weeks and these exercises can be done at any time.
Notice what is coming up for release >>> What has been on your mind lately? What aspects of your life have you been called to change? Your intuition is heightened right now – so take advantage and trust what comes up when you ask “what can I let go of to make the biggest positive impact in my life“. It will be individual for each person – but in particular how can you use this time to elevate your self worth? How can you really understand your value and release and forgive aspects from the past that have made you feel less than worthy? It is a super magical time to let those go.
This is a perfect time to access where in your life you are giving too much of yourself – where you are overly attached to outcome – where you feel a LOT of pressure and start to release those attachments in favor of following your intuition and adding more fun. Take care of this with any energy work you’re familiar with or simply write it out and set your intention to fully release it – then burn the paper.
Another beautiful exercise to do at this time is to review 2016. What have you set out to accomplish this year? What resistance has been coming up? How have you grown this year? It’s pretty amazing how much has changed in a short 7 months! What new goals do you want to put into place? Start to consider them now so that you can ground them and set your intentions in 2 weeks come the new moon.
Self care and grounding reminder…
This is partly a reminder to myself as well, be absolutely sure to take care of yourself! Especially if you are feeling extra tired, especially if you are feeling cranky, confused, emotional or out-of-sorts, especially if your body calls for it with flu or cold like symptoms!
You know the drill – time outside with bare feet on the ground, epsom salt bath or foot bath, get your body in the ocean if you’re lucky enough, journal anything out, sit down and enjoy a great meal slowly, meditate with grounding crystals and visualize your roots heading deep into the earth, exercise, drink piles of water and eat as much fresh food as feel good.
Let’s go ahead and add Mercury retro to the mix…
JUST in case the energy wasn’t strong enough with the Full moon and eclipse, we are also in the shadow period of mercury retro – which affects many of us strongly. The actual retrograde starts August 30th – so we have a few weeks to prepare for it – and have a beautiful and productive period of growth and breakthroughs. To make the most of this, focus on your communication and technology. What needs to improve? In what ways can you be more clear? In what was does your tech landscape need an update? Do you have all your files backed up?
Again – this re-enforces the importance of paying attention to what is coming up for you this week? What projects, people, issues? These will be a theme for you over the next 5 weeks during the retrograde – so pay attention now, release resistance and allow yourself to more fully uncover and express your worth – it will make for a magical retrograde!
As far as spiritual marketing…
This is the perfect time to sit down and consider what message you are sending out to the world. What business goals you want to accomplish for the rest of 2016? How are you holding back in your business? How can you more clearly express your value and clarity on what you offer? Start to allow answers to come in for these and when you feel inspired – take action – even if you feel some fear outside of your comfort zone – that will soon be replaced with relief and belief in yourself and your potential.
