In my last post I talked about finally moving out of this stage of gestation of who we want to become and becoming. In order for this process to continue, we must flow forward from a place of solid ground and personal power. We must make the conscious choice to emerge. To assist with this process tune into your I AM.

As the amazing creatrix of your reality it is up to you to allow yourself to become the butterfly, this can be helped along beautifully with the assistance of your focused I AM statements and allowing yourself to feel what you are becoming before becoming it.
This is a little different from many manifestation teaching that advises that you focus on what you want to draw into your life and visualize that way. In this exercise, we’ll be focusing on the energy of ourselves, from this place the desires become magnetized to your matched vibration anyway with less emphasis on ‘how’ things will work out, instead the emphasis is on our growth, self-acceptance, personal power, connection, and trust.
STEP 1
Before starting this exercise assess where you are at emotionally. You want to start at a place where you can be open and accept the new wonderful aspects of your true self ready to emerge. If you are in a place of turmoil, depression, victim energy, guilt, shame then you’ll want to rise up a bit before moving on. You don’t have to get all the way up to expansive, joy-filled euphoria but it is required to be somewhere in the vicinity of neutral to love. For this step simply shut off all distractions, breath into your heart a few times. Feel your feet solid on the ground. Tune in to yourself and ask how you’re doing today. If you feel ok to great move on to step 2, if you feel heaviness than continue on.
Now is the time to loosen the binds of the heavy emotion, you may have specific tactics to deal with this already, so use what feels best for you. You can use one of the suggestions I have here or all of them. A few suggestions that are my go-to:
Self Care. You may need a little time and nourishment towards yourself. Well hydrated, well fed, well rested, cleansed, grounded. This is one to check off the list. I know if my blood sugar is low the world can feel like a depression and frustrating place!
Positive aspects. This is an Abraham Hicks process where you begin to list out the positive aspects you see around you. This has the potential to shift things upwards for you.
EFT tapping. This is my usual go to when things feel heavy. Tapping on whatever I’m feeling and allowing myself to really feel it and really release it is a magical experience. Be sure that you are using the language “I release and let that go completely now” after focusing on the heavy emotion and as you are coming to the end of the tapping, “I am open to a new empowered energy”, “I am open to accepting more of who I truly am”.
Journal. Sometimes we just need to work through the lessons and circumstance we are going through and an honest journal session is sometimes all we need to release what is swirling in our head. Get VERY real here, no one will read it and you can always burn the paper or delete the document when you’re done for some extra releasing.
STEP 2
Once you’re at a place that is a little more solid and centered in your true self it’s time to welcome in the new energy, to allow the aspects of yourself the butterfly, the transformed Goddess to get her footing and break free of the old program.
Again take a moment to tune into your heart. Breath into this space and to help connect you to yourself you may want to repeat one of the words as you focus your breathing on your heart (even placing your hand on your heart center:
- Love
- Compassion
- Unity
- Gratitude
Only a minute or two is required here to get into the right energy. Then you want to tune into your butterfly. You may close your eyes and visualize a butterfly or picture yourself as coming out, emerging and stepping forward with conviction and power. Ask her what her truth is and create your I AM statements. For example:
- I AM clear in my communication
- I AM focused
- I AM in my abundance flow
- I AM creative
- I AM magnetic to my Soul clients
- I AM a powerful creator of my reality
- I AM supported
- I AM grounded
- I AM in my Divine Purpose Flow and creating
As you write each I AM, be sure to pause say it slowly out loud and breath and feel it in your body. Allow yourself to feel it in every cell of your body as you begin to train your cells to your new, transformed reality now. When you complete your list follow it by stating:
Thank you, thank you, thank you (breath into the heart) and so it is.
Place a reminder somewhere in your environment or calendar that represents your transformed self, the butterfly. When you see the reminder focus on at least 1 of your I AM statements for 30 seconds.
Watch as you stay consistent with this for as little as a few days and how the Universe rises up to congratulate you on your growth and begins to match your reality to your I AM statements.
