Have you ever had one of those super frantic dreams where you are running around, and getting frustrated, unsure of whats happening?
Last night I had a dream like that. It was pretty strange. I was in charge of producing ‘The Muppet Show’ (ha,ha,ha) so I had to work the Muppet’s, sing the songs and plan out the whole thing. I was freaking out!
Then a guide came to me and started playing the piano, and one by one everyone assembled around me and I felt a huge rush of relief. Next thing I knew I was gliding along in a giant skating rink (and was able to skate well.) As I was skating I was still producing the show. I asked what the hell was going on, I was told:
“Even though it looks like you are expected to do this monumental task on your own, we are here. It is ok to release and let us help”
As I woke up I held on to this message and as I was planning my monumental day I remember a little trick that I learned from Ester Hicks. So basically you write out your to do list for the day (that you will do) and then create a second column which is a list of things that you want the Universe to do for you.
As I wrote my list, I really just wanted to work on a few specific tasks that I was inspired to and was not wanting to do a business meeting and extra tasks that I had committed to, so asked the Universe to assemble all parts and people so that I could work on my vision.
I remained grounded and before starting on any work had a great breakfast and bath. I put myself first because all too often I put myself last, end up with no time and get more frazzled.
I had to laugh out loud as 30 minutes after I wrote my to-do list the person I had the business meeting with emailed to tell me they were out of the office and if we could put everything off until next week. UMMM, YES PLEASE.
The moral of the story. You are not in this alone. The odds are rigged in your favor, just remember to put yourself first, ask for help and then be willing to receive it.
