Have you ever noticed that when you fail to prioritize real breaks (the kind that nourishes you through and through) your body will give you a hint that it’s time for a break?
In the form of a headache, some other ailment or sometimes if you really need to pay attention something more serious that forces you to rest.

Sound familiar? All too often we push ourselves too far, work ourselves too hard with a disregard for what it is doing to our energy. When we want to sell more, we put more time in. We equate HARDER work and even suffering with rewards.
Moving away from this paradigm into a place where we are accepting more intuitive guidance to create a state where you are flowing less than working is the goal for so many – yet we lack the action to get there – ironically enough.
You have permission. Take a break. Just be. Don’t take a break to fold the laundry, make supper and get the kids homework done – take a break for you.
So how the hell is this all possible? You tell me to take a break but I just don’t have the time.
Correction you’re not creating the time.
What if you had more structure and strategy in your business, so when you worked on it – you were working on productively and in the flow – not floating around on Facebook and trying to figure out how to get more sales.
What if you made yourself the priority so as soon as you wake up – you tend to your needs? What if you asked someone for help? What if you hired help? What if you made a date with yourself every Wednesday night and showed up – just like you would for anyone you love.
Would you have more energy? More clarity? More ease and joy?
YOU BET.
And that is just the beginning. You have permission to follow your flow and go easy on yourself and still rock it at life and business.
Take time to invest in foundations to set yourself up for the flow – and while you’re at it do the inner work to, convince your mind that it is safe and secure to create this way of life – no matter how long you’ve been doing it the old way – you can always make a change.
