A great deal is being asked of lightworkers, changemakers, wayshowers and light leaders of this time. There will inevitably come a time (or many times!) in your soul mission where you feel doubt, disconnect, fear or all 3. We are moving into the unknown and many of us are creating paths into territories that are unexplored and we simply do not know what’s coming next.
To maintain a strong commitment and focus on your soul mission you must be anchored in your truth. You must persevere through the times that feel dark or challenging and continue choosing to rise up, believe in yourself and believe with certainty in your soul mission.
In this series I will be exploring multiple ways you can maintain your perseverance and highest perspective on your soul mission to help inspire you and bring you into your truth.
In part 1 today we will work through an exercise to understand how an idealized version of yourself may be creating resistance to forward movement.
Step 1 – Clarify how you would articulate your role currently. Don’t overthink this, just go with what comes to mind. Would you call yourself a healer, teacher, ascension guide, channel, coach, lightworker, light warrior or anything else. What comes to mind when articulating your role?
Step 2 – Now picture an idealized version of yourself walking this path. This version of you is free from pressure, expectation. Set this version of yourself free from all subconscious programs. Take a few moments and feel into this version of yourself. See how it feels in your body. Ask yourself as this free version of yourself ask: “What does this version of yourself NOT do? Why does she not do it?” This could be a belief, a pattern, a habit etc. Be open to whatever flows to you intuitively. This will clarify a subconscious way you may be holding back your full truth from yourself and the world.
For example maybe the free, idealized version of yourself does not doubt – so you have a subconscious story that because you still doubt yourself from time to time that you’re somehow not in perfect alignment with your mission and role.
We want to bring this to the surface and clarify that your progression into your truth and embodiment of soul mission is not about achieving perfection. It’s the journey and the practice, the lessons and wisdom gained. Your resilience and calling to your mission and role is the jewel.
We are not meant to be fully perfected versions as we claim our mission and role, it’s all a part of the soul growth process.
Step 3 – Now you’re giving your subconscious some freedom to express itself, prompt it by asking: “I can not possibly be legitimate and effective as a (your mission role title from step 1) because…”
At this point you will start to gain clarity about beliefs that are creating resistance to fully claiming your truth. Spend some time forgiving and letting go of these beliefs, these versions of yourself that have this strict perspective on what you need to be in order to fulfill your soul mission.
Step 4 – Get clear on what you are choosing to release and get clear about what you choose to believe instead. Use whatever method or tool you feel drawn to.
Ask yourself what feels like soul truth that you can anchor in its place?
I choose to clear and release these programs, perspectives and patterns now. I let it all go, I surrender to Source and reclaim my truth, my lightness, my joy.
Step 5 – Clarify your truth even deeper, harness your perspective shift and self belief. Fill out the following. “The truth is I am a fully embodied (your mission role from step 1) right now because…” Let yourself journal out the truth. Take some time to feel it in your body. Maybe move your body or spend time breathing in the energy.
Use this exercise as a way to reaffirm your truth, to stay connected to your mission and to align your perspective to who you truly are and why you are here.
When you look at yourself as you are today and see a match to what you know as your mission and role, even in it’s messy unperfected human form, you give yourself increased capacity to anchor into your truth. You give yourself the resilience and inspiration to see yourself, be yourself and express yourself as you truly are.
